About Janet Perez

Hello, and welcome. I'm glad you're here!

My wellness journey began in nature, on quiet hiking trails, beneath open skies, and in the steady rhythm of my own breath.

Movement has always grounded me. Hiking teaches me patience and perspective. Running strengthens my endurance and sharpens my mental clarity. Dancing awakens a sense of vitality and joy. Yoga, however, is where everything aligns. What began as a physical practice evolved into a deeper relationship with presence, breath awareness, and the subtle intelligence of the body. Through yoga, I learned to listen.

That listening led me to Ayurveda, the ancient science of life, and the sister science of yoga.  There, I found a framework that mirrored what I intuitively understood: we are not separate from nature. We are cyclical. Elemental. We thrive when we live in rhythm with natural rhythms.
Studying Ayurveda transformed both my professional path and my personal life. I began honoring daily rituals, seasonal transitions, nourishment, and rest as essential forms of medicine. I experienced firsthand how intentional touch, breath-centered practices, and mindful living can restore vitality and regulate the nervous system.

Today, my work weaves together yoga, therapeutic bodywork, and Ayurvedic wisdom into a grounded, integrative experience. Whether I am guiding a class, offering an Abhyanga, or supporting a client through consultation, my intention is to create a nurturing space where you can reconnect to your own inner balance and to hold space for recalibration, physically, mentally and energetically.

For me, wellness begins with awareness. It is a return to what feels true, sustainable, and aligned.

Outside of my practice, you will find me hiking, walking by the ocean, dancing, or exploring a new place. Nature is where I reconnect and restore. I also volunteer teaching yoga, sharing tools that cultivate presence and well-being.

I am honored to walk alongside you on your wellness journey.

With gratitude,

-Janet
